-
ACR Precision Sizing: Sized at 5/8″ O.D. to perfectly match the suction line diameter of standard 1HP and 1.5HP residential split units.
-
Dehydrated & Sealed: Factory-cleaned and sealed to ensure the interior is free from moisture and contaminants, making it ready for immediate integration into sensitive refrigerant circuits.
-
Oil Return Engineering: The radius of the trap is designed to maintain refrigerant velocity, effectively “lifting” oil up vertical pipes to keep the compressor lubricated.
-
Vibration Dampening: The rigid, high-purity copper construction withstands the constant mechanical pulses of a reciprocating or rotary compressor.
-
Solder-Ready Sockets: Features precision-machined female ends for a fast, airtight capillary fit using Harris 0 or Harris 15 brazing rods.
Applications:
-
Suction Line Risers: Mandatory at the base of vertical suction lines for 1HP – 1.5HP split units.
-
Standard Condensate Drainage: A high-end alternative to plastic traps for 1HP AC units where durability is paramount.
-
Small Commercial Freezers: Ideal for oil management in walk-in cooler evaporator coils.

Logistics & Shipping
-
Packaging: Individually bagged and sealed to maintain internal dryness.
-
Net Weight: Approx. 0.22 kg.
-
Package Includes: 1x 5/8″ O.D. Copper P-Trap.
Technical Warning: For proper oil return, a 5/8″ trap should be installed every 3 to 4 meters of vertical lift.
Elins Nigeria Advice: Always purge the line with Dry Nitrogen while brazing this trap into a suction line. This prevents “black soot” (oxidation) from forming inside the pipe, which could eventually clog your expansion valve or capillary tube.
Warning: Ensure the trap is installed at the lowest point of the suction line before the pipe starts its upward climb.
