It is a near-azeotropic mixture of R-32 and R-125 that offers significantly higher cooling capacity and pressure than R-22. Technical Description: Freon™ R-410A is the modern industry-standard, zero ODP, high-efficiency HFC refrigerant for new residential and commercial air conditioning and heat pump systems. It operates at significantly higher pressure and offers higher cooling capacity than R-22. Crucial: R-410A is not a retrofit for R-22 systems and must only be used in equipment specifically designed for it. It is a blend and must be charged in the liquid phase. Requires Polyolester (POE) lubricant.
